What: The National Women’s Business Council (NWBC) will release findings from an extensive study of women who applied for and received patents and trademarks over the last 35 years. Preliminary findings indicate the number has accelerated in recent years. NWBC is examining the link between intellectual property rights and women business owners. The research will be released during a morning tribute to women whose ingenuity and inventions have improved our lives, Women Entrepreneurs: Celebrating the Past, Inventing the Future, co-hosted by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office.
