NWBC Public Meeting: Innovative Strategies for Women to Raise Capital
On June 25th, the National Women's Business Council will hold its quarterly virtual public meeting to give insights on its efforts in advancing the women’s entrepreneurship agenda. The focus of the National Women’s Business Council’s upcoming public meeting is women entrepreneurs’ access to capital, one of four main pillars of NWBC’s portfolio. Special guest Tina Tchen, Assistant to President Barack Obama, Chief of Staff to First Lady Michelle Obama, and Executive Director of the White House Council on Women and Girls, will join as well to share some highlights from the White House Summit on Working Families, and recap the President’s plans for expanding economic opportunities to women and working families.
Join us on June 25th at 11:30am ET to hear from an array of voices in the business community as we discuss the challenges, opportunities, and innovative strategies to increase women’s access to capital in today’s new market environment. The NWBC looks forward to hearing your thoughts and ideas on this issue during the Q&A segment.
The NWBC public meeting is an open resource for members of the press, policy makers, stakeholders, women leaders, established entrepreneurs & aspiring women entrepreneurs, and the general public. RSVP required.
