Public Meeting | Accelerating the Future of Women Entrepreneurs

Please join the National Women’s Business Council on Thursday, December 7, 2017, from 2:00pm ET to 3:15pm ET for its first quarter public meeting in Fiscal Year 2018. The public meeting will take place via webinar and conference call, and will offer an update on NWBC’s research and engagement activities. The Council will also preview its FY2017 Annual Report, titled Accelerating the Future of Women Entrepreneurs: The Power of the Ecosystem. As we look ahead to changes in industry, markets and labor, we invite you to join us in accelerating the policy of tomorrow, meeting the needs of women entrepreneurs in the economy of the future.

Time will be reserved before the meeting closes at 3:15pm ET for participants to address Council Members, directly, with questions, comments, or feedback.

The National Women’s Business Council (NWBC) is a nonpartisan federal advisory council established to serve as an independent source of advice and policy recommendations to the President, the Congress, and the Administrator of the U.S. Small Business Administration on issues related to women’s business enterprise. The Council is comprised of eight small business owners from across the country, six representatives of national women’s business organizations, and one Chairperson, Liz Sara, who was recently appointed by President Donald J. Trump in August 2018.
