Independence Day: Women Reigniting Entrepreneurial Independence

In honor of Independence Day, the National Women’s Business Council (NWBC) released the following statement:

“Women’s economic impact is significant and growing with an astonishing rate of women starting 1,288 new businesses per day. The current uptick in today’s rapidly growing start-up culture is proof that women are reigniting our nation’s entrepreneurial spirit, says NWBC Communications Director Krystal Glass. It is important to acknowledge the significant economic impact made by women entrepreneurs. As it stands, women entrepreneurs are the fastest growing population in the small business community and as women entrepreneurs continue to grow so does our nation’s economy.”

The NWBC honors this year’s Independence Day by highlighting women entrepreneurs’ impact in reigniting our nation's entrepreneurial independence.
