Patents, Trademarks & Women's History Month
NWBC will release results from a milestone research project on the number of women who have applied for and received patents and trademarks from 1975 to 2010. The press release describing preliminary results from this project can be found here.
The report’s release falls on the start of Women’s History Month and will be featured at an event, co-hosted by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, that pays tribute to women whose innovation, ingenuity and inventions have improved our lives.
A full NWBC council meeting will follow the morning event.
The public is encouraged to attend both free events, but please register here to reserve a seat.
