Council to discuss priorities of the 113th Congress and the U.S. Small Business Administration and also hear directly from women business owners, business leaders on issues related to entrepreneurship, economy.
What: The National Women’s Business Council (NWBC) will conduct its next public meeting via web-teleconference to review work accomplished since its last meeting, discuss its 2013 research agenda and take public comments and questions
Guest speakers from the U.S. Small Business Administration, the Senate Small Business & Entrepreneurship Committee, and the House Small Business Committee will speak about priorities within each respective entity which promote the growth of women entrepreneurs and business owners.

Who: The National Women’s Business Council is a nonpartisan, independent federal council created to trusted advisors to the president, Congress and the U.S. Small Business Administration on economic issues that affect the growth of women business owners. NWBC members are prominent women business owners and leaders of women’s business organizations. The Council is comprised of 15 members, including the presidentially-appointed chairwoman.
